Hannah Crabtree
Hi, I'm Hannah, – a Registered Nutritional Therapist and Health Coach. I specialise in helping women in their 40s and 50s transform their health, regain their energy, and find the weight that feels just right for them.
Like many of my clients, I reached a point in midlife where things just started to feel… off. I was exhausted, moody, and bloated. My weight was creeping up, I wasn’t sleeping well, and I no longer felt like myself. Sound familiar?
I’ve always loved food – cooking it, eating it, and learning about it – which led me to study Food Science at university. After graduating, I spent 12 years working in the food industry. But despite knowing a fair bit about nutrition, real life often got in the way. In my 20s and 30s, I worked hard and played hard. I tried to make good choices, but like so many of us, I relied on convenience foods. I was always tired, always wired – and the insomnia I’d struggled with for years never let up.

It never occurred to me that food might be part of the problem… or the solution.
By my early 40s, I had two gorgeous children, but I was running on empty. My sleep was worse than ever, I felt irritable and low, my skin was flaring up, and my waistline had started to expand for the first time in my life. Nothing I tried seemed to work – until I started to change what I was eating.

The difference was incredible.

My sleep improved almost overnight. My mood lifted. I had more energy, fewer cravings, and even started to enjoy exercise again. And best of all, I felt like me again.
That was the catalyst for a complete career change. I retrained as a Nutritional Therapist at the highly regarded Institute for Optimum Nutrition, graduating with distinction – and I’ve never looked back.

Through my clinical practice, I help women navigate midlife with clarity, confidence and support. Whether you want to feel more energised, lose stubborn weight, improve your sleep, or simply get back to feeling like yourself again, I’m here to help you figure out what’s going on – and what to do about it.

As a mum of two young adults, I know how easy it is to let your own needs slip to the bottom of the list. Life gets busy, and everyone else often comes first. I also know what it’s like to be dragging yourself through the day, running on empty. But I truly believe that when you feel good, it has a ripple effect on everyone around you.

If you’re ready to start making changes, I’d love to guide you. Together, we’ll create a realistic and personalised plan that fits around your life – not the other way around.

As I approached 60 I decided to tackle some long term problems of disrupted sleep caused by hot flushes; low mood and an afternoon energy dip. I found Hannah welcoming, warm and knowledgeable. It was easy to integrate the nutrition and lifestyle recommendations into my busy life and my sleep, mood and energy levels are all much better! But most importantly, I believe I have the confidence now to maintain these changes and live a healthier life. Meeting Hannah has definitely been a great investment and I would thoroughly recommend her service.
