These bliss balls are super quick and easy to make, naturally sweetened with dates—no refined sugars! As the name suggests, they contain peanut butter, which adds protein and healthy fats, along with chia seeds, a great source of fibre, plant-based omega-3 fats, and protein to help keep your energy levels stable.
They also satisfy those chocolate cravings, thanks to cacao powder, which is rich in polyphenols—powerful plant compounds with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Polyphenols also act as prebiotics, helping to nourish beneficial gut bacteria and support digestion.

Ingredients
200g pitted dates 150g crunchy peanut butter 1 tbsp chia seeds 1 tbsp raw cacao powder (you can use cocoa powder if you like) 1/4 tsp sea salt 1 tbsp cocoa powder or raw cacao powder for rolling
Method
Place all the ingredients in a food processor and blend until well combined.
Roll the mixture into balls (wetting your hands makes this easier!).
Roll each ball in cocoa or raw cacao powder.
Refrigerate for at least an hour to firm up.
These freeze really well—just be careful of your teeth if you can’t wait for them to defrost!
Eat and enjoy!
